Trip to Malacca

Since I am quite free during this raya's holidays, as I promised you all earlier, I gonna post some updates for my trip to Malacca, Macau, HongKong and KL.

I will start with Malacca first. I departed to Malacca on Friday night after Carrie got to her bus to JB. My bus departed from Jitra around 9.30pm and I reach Malacca around 6am.

Ling came to fetch me with her messy hair as she just woke up from her sleep. This is my third visit to malacca and yet, I still love Malacca. With Ling's excellent driving skill, I reached her flat after a short drive.

She stays with Yong Bing ( kenyalang famous char kuey's tauke kia) and also a friendfly Sibu gal, LLL. I felt warmth as all of Ling's friends were very friendly!!! Thanks to notty Elina and also Jeanice for her Kancil!!!

I slept like a PIG after I get into Ling's room. I felt tired after had 9 hours of bus journey to reach Malacca. I woke up around 2pm and we went to Dataran Pahlawan shopping mall for our lunch. After that, as for dinner, we went to a western restaurant. I am too full during that time, so I only drank orange juice. I met Lisa and his boyfriend also.

Next, we went to Wing's cafe for yum cha. I went there before for my last visit to Malacca. Ling's friend was performing on that night. Had some camwhoring session over there.

The girls-> LLL, Tammy, Ling and jeanice

This is a normal shot IF you try to compare it with the one below +___=

Laugh till so happy???

Jeanice: Elina, can I take a photo of your pretty boob?
Elina: ohhhh.... it's my pleasure ^^

Thanks for your kind hospitality ya !!!

we went back to Ling's house around 12am++. As LLL can sense some of her ~good frens~ around, I was quite scared with that. LLL has some kind of special gift to see and interact with those ~good friends~...

For the next day, Ling brought me to the famous chicken rice balls's restaurant located at Batu Berendam. And I swear this is the best chicken rice balls that I had ever taste!!! According to Ling, the rice balls are 100% hand-made. I like it because the rice balls was sticky enough and the size was just nice to be fed into my mouth one go...

and the chicken was really juicy and smooth. I sapu 8 rice balls and 3 of us which were Ling, LLL and me finish the half chicken!!! Too bad Nic cant taste it because he only will be reaching Malacca around 7pm. So sayang loe....

can you see the name of the restaurant? remember to go there If you have the chance!!!

trust me!!! you won't be regret by stepping your feet inside this restaurant!!!

This is the famous restaurant at batu berendam...
was so crowded with ppl....

my fav chicken rice balls!!!

Juicy chickens!!!

After filled up my empty stomach, we went to ~Qing Yun Ting~ The oldest and famous temple in Malaysia. I just want to go there and pray to ~Guan Yin Ma~ so that She can protect us throughout the whole trip as there were H1N1 at Hongkong. And I also bought few rings which were believed that can ~bo bi~ us for the trip.

After praying at temple, I continue to sleep at Ling's house and I woke up around 6pm as we need to fetch our Dai lou Pooh (Nic) at Malacca Sentral around 7pm.

Was so happy to meet Nic after CNY. Since he went to czech to further his studies, we only can meet him once a year during his summer break holidays. There were lots of laughter and jokes as Nic can't stop talking in the car until we reach Jonker's street. We walk here and there, saw a lot of cute stuff and yummies. Nic bought a lot of weird and cute stuff until he needs Ling to help him pos laju them back to Kuching.

at Jonker street...

so excited huh me???

touch this and touch that like a small kid when I saw those cute stuff!!!

Elina looks like a bit ~bei liang~???

NIc- dai lou Pooh!!!

Of course, we ate a lot of local cuisine too, like Baba laksa, nyonya kuih, cendol, and I cant remember some of them d. We cant eat the Satay celup as H1N1 was quite serious at Malacca during that time.
Baba laksa, actually is kinda of laksa lemak with santan.
for nyonya laksa, it's actually asam laksa!!!

Nyonya Kuih....

Nic's mango cendol
Playing with Nic's camera's super macro effect

We went back to Ling's house again after that. we chat and plan for our walk at Jonker street as Ling can't bring us to there. She needs to attend her class on that morning, so Nic and I have to ~jiak ka ki~.

I shall continue my journey to explore Malacca in the next post. stay tuned =)

My first fishing experiece

I start to realised that my blog is a bit over-focus on my teaching life now, but what to do? I am a teacher to be....sigh.....

and this time I am going to share my fishing experience with you guys, and yes, it's related to my students again....

as I told you guys in my previous entry, remember my God-brother, Shafiq?

YES, his dad is can be consider as a wealthy businessman. He owned a big ~Aquaculture farm~!!!

On the day before Carrie and I left Kedah for our mid-sem's holidays, Shafiq called me up and asked us to bring him to his dad's aquaculture farm at Malau.

so we reached there around 5pm, together with Nabil and Carrie.

This is my first time to see such a BIG fish rearing farm!!!
His dad rears various types of fish such as ikan Keli, ikan haruan, ikan bla bla bla....
I forgot the names d as I am not a fish lover.....>.< all the GIANT Ikan Keli....

a peaceful view.... you might be surprised by a big fish suddenly jumping up from the water surface!!

we had a great time over there and although I din manage to catch any fish on that evening.
Carrie did got a small fishie and that makes up our outing!!! ^^

fooling around with the kids!!!

we got the fish!!!!

Posing with the fish first....

trying to release the fish from the fishing rod

a small fishie .... it's cute!!!
we released it back to the pond in the end.......
kids are such a kind hearted ^.^

more photos to be shared....
Shafiq communicating with his dad's worker in the language that I don't understand.....
kids nowadays are really......=.-

Making the fishie's food....

waiting patiently for the fishie....

Shafiq got lots of fishing taboo or pantangs, here are some to share with you all IF you are interested....
#1. don not step across the fishing rod as you won get any fishie on that day....
#2. Do wear white cloth IF you wish to get lots of fishie on that day.....(p/s: it turn out freakingly ~chun~ as only Carrie whom wore the white polo-t manage to get a small fishie on that day while the rest of us go back with a an empty hand >.<''')
#3. Do not make any noise or chit-chatting when you are waiting for the fishie....(this one I also know la....hehe)

I really like the atmosphere of the aqua-farm....^-^

The baby fish .....

The adult ikan keli....damn BIG!!!!

Shafiq: keep quiet 1st... If not, the baby fish will know that we wana catch them!!!
Nabil: yes sir!!!

They trying to catch the fish with the plastic bag....
at last, they manage to catch the baby fish!!!

Little Nabil enjoy fishing because he also don't like any sport's activity like his teacher...>.<''' Looks so pro huh?!!!

Thanks for making my teaching life such an interesting story to be shared ^.^

and tml we going to fish again .....yeah!!!!

a day out with my kids!!!

My stories with the kids have not end yet....

on the last day of my practicum, I went to Pizza Hut with few of my FAV students, which were Nabil, shafiq, Irfan and his brother (cuz his brother will be alone in the house If he din follow us) and Fahmi.

They asked and begged me to bring them out as they said they wanted to treat me for a farewell lunch ( non-stop farewell-ING =.=)

I don't want to let them down so I promise them for a tea break at Pizza hut.

I pick them up around 3pm together with Liyong and Carrie. It suppose to be a post-b'day gathering for Liyong before she going back to BM, but end up with having fun with the kids....(I hope Liyong won be mind with that ^^)

and when the KIDS said they want to do something, you better believe them....cuz Shafiq really brought RM80 for the tea break. I was like *o*....

omg!!! Kids nowadays are really rich....!!! Shafiq said when he said wana "belanja teacher", he really mean it!!. and we were so surprised that this kid has a good manner and gentleman behaviour. Carrie was so surprise when Shafiq standing at the glass door of the Pizza Hut's entrance to wait for all of us enter including Carrie and Liyong and HE HOLD THE GLASS DOOR FOR US....

how sweet is that???!!!.....He looks matured and gentleman compared to other kids....he was the last one to sit on his seat after all of us sat on ours....

before that, let me briefly tell you something about this boy named Shafiq. He is actually a mixture of Malay and Pakistan. His dad is a Pakistanis while his mum is a Malay.
I start to realised his existence because he is very talented in music field...

at the age of 10, he already can play piano very well and his is now in Grade 5 of Piano course. As you all know, I love playing piano although I am a late learner. hehe....

He later become my God-brother as two of us were quite ~click~!!!
now he used to call me Kak Tammy instead of teacher...>.<''' The cute Mickey-looking boy with white shirt is Shafiq ^^

back to our outing at Pizza Hut, at first I was quite worry about bringing a bunch of ~monkeys~ for an outing, but I was glad to see them well-behave and having fun with us.

Here are some of their funny camwhoring session!!!

sigh sigh sigh.... Shafiq is playing with Nabil's ears.....

this is so violent la kids....
don't play play with the knife ler....!!!

and also the fork!!!......lolz...
p/s: they look so ~gayish~....>.<'''

in the end, I paid the bill as I can't let a kid to pay my bill....
Gosh, broke d after I saw the bill....

here are some photos of them....
let me introduce them one by one ^^

with fahmi....

with Haikal, Irfan's brother

with Irfan....

with Nabil

and finally the BIG boss....Shafiq

before leaving....
had camwhore session again...
they all are camwhore kakizzz like their teacher!!! lolz....

Anyway, I felt that it was worth as we really had a great time together ^^
