Exploring Malacca!!!

This was the last day for us to explore malacca as we need to depart to Kl on the next day d. Ling can't be with us as she had class on that morning. So, Nic and I had to take bus and explored Jonker street by our own. Malacca is such a small state and all the tourism spots seem to be located at the center of the malacca city.

we took a bus to Malacca sentral and then we transited another bus to the town area. Our plan is to visit the Jonker street as it has different appearence for night time and day time. It looks different from last nite.

We tried to get a map for our tour but the tourism center had running out of stock for the map d. sigh.... really not efficient enough loe as a tourism state.....Can't imagine hows the impression of the foreign travelers whom came to visit Malacca!!!

Never mind, without the map, we also manage to visit all the famous places. Before that, we went to another chicken rice balls'restaurant at Jonker street. It was recommended by Wan chen!!! The rice balls were nice and I love the asam fish head too!!!!
Next time when you wana try delicious chicken rice balls and famous asam fish head, remember this restaurant at Jonket street!!!

waiting for my rice balls.... *hungweee~~~*

even the lady's finger was so nice !!!

The famous asam fish head!!!

I manage to finish all the rice balls... and I nearly clear off Nic's left behind rice balls as well...>.<''' ( this is how I gain 2 kgs after this trip)

Next, we walk around and took some photos. We went in to every shops at Jonker street because it was too hot for us to walk under the sun. And we also keep on looking for food and drinks along the way.
Ang mozzzz tour to Malacca....

The famous windmill and I saw a BIG biawak inside the bush...SWT....

stupid looking nic in front of the famous Stadthuys

okie.... this is the Muzium Islam and we were not interested with it at all...

so we just took some photos at outside of the museum....

lots of beautiful and well-decorated ~beca~

We discovered this ~Limau-Limau Cafe~ inside the lorong there. (forgot wad lorong is that liao... too many lorongs etc lorong masjid, lorong gereja, lorong hang lekiu.....)

Limau-Limau cafe (weird name huh??)

The interior design of the cafe...

having a cup of fruit juice became a MUST routine for our trip to make sure that we have enough of Vitamin C!!!! (scared of H1N1 ma....=.=''')

I like the board full of writing behind Nic...^^

we walk, walk and walk around the Jonker street. And we try to find the Baba and Nyonya Museum as Nic was quite addicted with the recent drama called ~little nyonya~
Last time din watch it although mike keeps on recommend bout this drama because I was addicted to ~boys over flower~....haha

We hardly can find the location of that Museum, and the weather was damn hot!!! At last, we gave up and decided to call a trishaw!!! and it was so happen to be that a beautiful trishaw pass by in front of us. So, we stopped the uncle and ask him to bring us to that Museum. It cost RM10 to reach there (it actually was on the other lorong nia la=.=)

I felt pity for that uncle cuz Nic was so ~nap~ (actually I am also quite nap la, but purposely wana put blame on Nic..haha) and Uncle hardly can balance his trushaw. I was a bit scared when he cycled the trishaw near to the drain~~~
At last, we reached safely at the museum and thanks to Uncle!!!

Can you spot the poor Pak Cik who need to carry two fatties like us???

too flowery loe the trishaw....

these is the photo that kena teased by many ppl loe....
(pls don misunderstood this photo la hor~~~)

and the tour to Baba's museum was great as there was a lady explaining and introducing everything in the Museum thoroughly and the explanation was full of humour!!!
However, we are not allowed to take any photo inside the museum.

after the visit to museum, we went to the famous stall at Jonker. ~da bao~
as usual, I ordered their famous Nyonya Laksa (wanted to order baba laksa at fist but it finished d ) and also cendol. Nic ordered rojak and cendol as he was too full to eat laksa....

posing with my Nyonya Laksa!!! Yummy!!!

Nic also wana try my laksa....(faster give back my laksa liao!!!)

looks tempting huh???!!!

Cendol with lotsa of ~gula Melaka~ ^^

Rojak with all the fish balls that are so springy!!! (QQQ!!!)

with rich filling of pineapple jam!!!

FAmous pineapple tarts!!!

That will be our last stop as both of us really old d... cannot walk any further....
so, we rest a while and wait for our bus.
The stupid bus took about an hour to reach to Ling's house and it's damn dizzy in that bus....
Malaysia's bus really +_____=

That night, Ling brought us for dinner and we had Nyonya meal.
I am really satisfied with all the food at Malacca. really no complaints loe!!! (except Nic keeps on complaining that the cendol was too sweet as the hawker really very generous by putting lots of Gula Melaka in the cendol)

omelette with cincaluk (shrimps)

pum-pa-teh (forgot how to spell the name liao, it's actually a chicken dish)

famous tau hu!!!

Lady's fingers again with sambal!!!

After our dinner, Ling brought us to Mydin and Nic sapu some stocks back to Czech again...(really a serious shopaholic)
our last stop was at a stall near Ling's house. wanted to try some ~otak-otak~, but also sold out d....

so we only drank some fruit juice and the glass was damn BIG!!!!
we joke and fool around and it was really GREAT although we just had a RM2's juice, but the joy and laughter was priceless!!!

sipping her juice happily!!!

Kiam pak face!!!

I *heart* my friends!!! Thanks for being such a good friend of mine!!!
and thanks to Ling and her friends for being so kind to me!!!
won't forget you all and I hope to visit Malacca again!!!
