My first fishing experiece

I start to realised that my blog is a bit over-focus on my teaching life now, but what to do? I am a teacher to be....sigh.....

and this time I am going to share my fishing experience with you guys, and yes, it's related to my students again....

as I told you guys in my previous entry, remember my God-brother, Shafiq?

YES, his dad is can be consider as a wealthy businessman. He owned a big ~Aquaculture farm~!!!

On the day before Carrie and I left Kedah for our mid-sem's holidays, Shafiq called me up and asked us to bring him to his dad's aquaculture farm at Malau.

so we reached there around 5pm, together with Nabil and Carrie.

This is my first time to see such a BIG fish rearing farm!!!
His dad rears various types of fish such as ikan Keli, ikan haruan, ikan bla bla bla....
I forgot the names d as I am not a fish lover.....>.< all the GIANT Ikan Keli....

a peaceful view.... you might be surprised by a big fish suddenly jumping up from the water surface!!

we had a great time over there and although I din manage to catch any fish on that evening.
Carrie did got a small fishie and that makes up our outing!!! ^^

fooling around with the kids!!!

we got the fish!!!!

Posing with the fish first....

trying to release the fish from the fishing rod

a small fishie .... it's cute!!!
we released it back to the pond in the end.......
kids are such a kind hearted ^.^

more photos to be shared....
Shafiq communicating with his dad's worker in the language that I don't understand.....
kids nowadays are really......=.-

Making the fishie's food....

waiting patiently for the fishie....

Shafiq got lots of fishing taboo or pantangs, here are some to share with you all IF you are interested....
#1. don not step across the fishing rod as you won get any fishie on that day....
#2. Do wear white cloth IF you wish to get lots of fishie on that day.....(p/s: it turn out freakingly ~chun~ as only Carrie whom wore the white polo-t manage to get a small fishie on that day while the rest of us go back with a an empty hand >.<''')
#3. Do not make any noise or chit-chatting when you are waiting for the fishie....(this one I also know la....hehe)

I really like the atmosphere of the aqua-farm....^-^

The baby fish .....

The adult ikan keli....damn BIG!!!!

Shafiq: keep quiet 1st... If not, the baby fish will know that we wana catch them!!!
Nabil: yes sir!!!

They trying to catch the fish with the plastic bag....
at last, they manage to catch the baby fish!!!

Little Nabil enjoy fishing because he also don't like any sport's activity like his teacher...>.<''' Looks so pro huh?!!!

Thanks for making my teaching life such an interesting story to be shared ^.^

and tml we going to fish again .....yeah!!!!

a day out with my kids!!!

My stories with the kids have not end yet....

on the last day of my practicum, I went to Pizza Hut with few of my FAV students, which were Nabil, shafiq, Irfan and his brother (cuz his brother will be alone in the house If he din follow us) and Fahmi.

They asked and begged me to bring them out as they said they wanted to treat me for a farewell lunch ( non-stop farewell-ING =.=)

I don't want to let them down so I promise them for a tea break at Pizza hut.

I pick them up around 3pm together with Liyong and Carrie. It suppose to be a post-b'day gathering for Liyong before she going back to BM, but end up with having fun with the kids....(I hope Liyong won be mind with that ^^)

and when the KIDS said they want to do something, you better believe them....cuz Shafiq really brought RM80 for the tea break. I was like *o*....

omg!!! Kids nowadays are really rich....!!! Shafiq said when he said wana "belanja teacher", he really mean it!!. and we were so surprised that this kid has a good manner and gentleman behaviour. Carrie was so surprise when Shafiq standing at the glass door of the Pizza Hut's entrance to wait for all of us enter including Carrie and Liyong and HE HOLD THE GLASS DOOR FOR US....

how sweet is that???!!!.....He looks matured and gentleman compared to other kids....he was the last one to sit on his seat after all of us sat on ours....

before that, let me briefly tell you something about this boy named Shafiq. He is actually a mixture of Malay and Pakistan. His dad is a Pakistanis while his mum is a Malay.
I start to realised his existence because he is very talented in music field...

at the age of 10, he already can play piano very well and his is now in Grade 5 of Piano course. As you all know, I love playing piano although I am a late learner. hehe....

He later become my God-brother as two of us were quite ~click~!!!
now he used to call me Kak Tammy instead of teacher...>.<''' The cute Mickey-looking boy with white shirt is Shafiq ^^

back to our outing at Pizza Hut, at first I was quite worry about bringing a bunch of ~monkeys~ for an outing, but I was glad to see them well-behave and having fun with us.

Here are some of their funny camwhoring session!!!

sigh sigh sigh.... Shafiq is playing with Nabil's ears.....

this is so violent la kids....
don't play play with the knife ler....!!!

and also the fork!!!......lolz...
p/s: they look so ~gayish~....>.<'''

in the end, I paid the bill as I can't let a kid to pay my bill....
Gosh, broke d after I saw the bill....

here are some photos of them....
let me introduce them one by one ^^

with fahmi....

with Haikal, Irfan's brother

with Irfan....

with Nabil

and finally the BIG boss....Shafiq

before leaving....
had camwhore session again...
they all are camwhore kakizzz like their teacher!!! lolz....

Anyway, I felt that it was worth as we really had a great time together ^^

sweet memories of my 2nd practicum.....

I have always wanted to post about my sweetness and bitterness for this second practicum at Sekolah Kebangsaan Jitra 3 ....

Sekolah Kebangsaan Jitra 3, 4English, 4Science, 3Arts, those ~terms~ that I would not forget for the rest of my life.....

well, frankly speaking, I started this practicum with a bad feelings and bad impression, because I had heard many stories about the classes that I am going to face for those 2 months....

and one more thing, I could not stop thinking and missing my students from my previous school which is Sekolah Kebangsaan Bandar Baru Darulaman which I had my first practicum over there....

but who knows, the thing turn to the other way it should be....
I started to love this school, I love my students, the teachers and even the staffs over there....

and this is my first time to cry in front of the kids.... sigh....such a shameful incident....

and the worst part is I cried for two times in their class.

The first time was after my ~rentasan~, they quarrel because of a small matter....
I was so tired and frust and I finally collapsed in their class...
I told them I was disappointed with their attitudes....
and this is the first time we cried together as a ~family~....

The second time and the last time I cried in their class was during our farewell day...
I tried to sort out all their photos and show to them in a slide show accompanied by some farewell songs such as ~goodbye my friends, viva forever, mungkin nanti~, and I made myself cried again....
I cant control myself, tears keep on rolling down and I can't even utter a single word after the photo slide shows ended....
I need Carrie to help me to conduct the class and this time even the boys cried together with me....
we took our class photo and everyone's eyes was red and filled up with tears....
we hug each other and bid farewell to each other....

I miss them a lot and until now I still keep in touch with them...
They called and sms-ed me....

and of course, I do admit that I am a human being, and of course I can't escape from the act of ~favoritism~...

I use to hang out with few of my fav students and I am glad that we enjoy each outing together regardless of our skin's colour and religion.
I met their parents and I am glad that they do trust me as a ~teacher~, not as a ~orang cina~...

but sometimes, religion and culture might be a issue for us.....
for example, they are having their fasting month, so it is not suitable to bring them for any outing.....
and the gals plan to cook for me at my house....

I was like >.<'''.... ~kids cook for me????~ I don't even have any ingredients for them to cook as they wanted to cook for me and ~buka puasa~ together with me at ~my house~!!!

Luckily they canceled the plan as their were some objection from some of the parents.... They called me this morning and said sorry to me as they can't come to my house for this coming Thursday...

I was like~ breathed a sigh of relief~ when I heard bout that.... but the kids cried when they said sorry to me, I felt a bit guilty with that....

Anyway, kids... thanks for making my practicum such a sweet and unforgettable one!!

I love you all...

here are some photos to share....enjoy!!!
as usual, farewell will sure be accompanied by these gifts from them...

My practicum has come towards the end... BUT>>>>>

I feel like posting this post ages ago d, just that I don't have time to do so. You might ask why? since you say that your practicum has come towards the end, you should be relaxing now like your others friends....

The reason is that my DEAR lecturer had nominated for the "guru practicum cemerlang"... duh.....!!!
You might think that It should be a good news for me, why I still say "duh!!!" It might be a good news if I do not need to go through another observation by 2 senior lecturers and a video camera to record my whole teaching process, this is called as "rentasan"

"rentasan" means to let 2 senior lecturers to observe your teaching to decide that whether you are really deserved for the "cemerlang" or not. I was so frustrated to get the news. I refused and rejected my lecturer for so many times d. she even called me during my "afternoon nap-ING time" just to persuade me to take the challenge. and the next day she came to my school to observe my friend, she keep on nagging and nagging...

She was a bit angry d when I keep on saying "NO, I haven well-prepared". she thinks that I am too negative minded and she was disappointed with me. This make me felt a bit guilty and finally i NEED to say YES to her.

she was so happy and keep on reminding me about updating all my record books and folio as those senior lecturers gonna check all my record books and folio.
Its easy to say update all your Record books and folio, but to do it it is damn HARD.

as you all know, I always cin cin cai cai stuff some papers in my folio and my handwriting in the record book was TERRIBLE!!!
Now, I need to make my folio thicker by writing all the reflections and putting all the teaching aids. sigh....!!!

and the thing that worry me the most is the coming observation on this coming Tuesday. I am damn stress up by it now while all my friends are enjoying their moments and counting down to go home only. duh!!!

What should I do for next week? I should be having my great moments with my students now instead f having this kind of stressful moments.

I am counting down my time to go to Malacca and HK. Hope that we will be safe for the whole journey. I hate H1N1 !!!!
and wish me all the best for my next week's observation.
Poor me doing the teaching aids for my lesson.....
Damn tiring!!!

(p/s: and another sweet and touching thing to share with you all. remember my students from SKBBD for my previous practicum. Afrina, my sweet little monitor finally learn how to email. she emailed me yesterday. Was so touched to get her email. She ask when can Teacher go to visit them as they all miss teacher so much. I would like to do so but just don't have the time for now. Afrina, I shall try to arrange my time ya. I miss you guys a lot!!!)

and thanks to Carrie for helping me through the way....

I am lucky to have such a helpful and good Jie mei, coursemate, and room mate!!!
You always be by my side when I need some one to help me. you know that I am not good at expressing my feeling. but you will always be my best pal!!!

Thanks alot!!! AND promise to cia u eat after this stupid "rentasan" had over ya!!! =)

I am damn stress now...

I am gonna have a hard time for next week as they will be 3 observation session for next week...

I need to update all my folio and also record books...

and we still haven starts to do our assignments...!! what are we going to do?

I just finish marking all my students' test papers and exercise books....

damn tiring!!!

another thing that makes up my last week's time, which is my 4English had made me so proud of them..!!!!

I used to be so dislike this class, as I told u the reasons in the previous post.
but after that incident, we become closer and now, I love them so much!!!

Because of their performance in my last wed's observation, I got an excellent for my marks!!!
Gosh...!!! I cant express the feeling of appreciating and touching when I saw them behave so good in my class!!!

4English, keep it up!!!!
